Adrienne Salyer, Vice President, National Accounts Sales Executive for Investment Property Exchange Services, Inc. (IPX1031) teams up with Rick Wittstock to cover Arizona and New Mexico. Previously, she held positions as National Accounts Director managing all corporate strategic accounts, and Regional Sales Manager, covering Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and Colorado for a national Qualified Intermediary.
With a career in the 1031 and real estate industries dating back to 1994, Adrienne has extensive experience in facilitating various types of 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges, including Forward, Reverse, and Build-to-Suit Exchanges, and is a frequent speaker and instructor on the topic of 1031 Exchanges. Additionally, Adrienne’s background includes residential and commercial transactions, title insurance, asset management and disposition, and investment acquisition. No special 1031 Exchange rules. AZ / NM follow the Federal rules.
What if my Replacement Property is less than my sales price of my Relinquished Property?
This is called a Partial Exchange. You will defer some of the tax and pay on the amount that you didn’t. You should discuss with your CPA/Tax Advisor if doing a Partial Exchange is beneficial to you.
