IPX1031® Expands Northwest Region with New Talent

Portland, OR – [September 22, 2016] – Investment Property Exchange Services, Inc. (IPX1031®) has strengthened its Pacific Northwest operation with new talent this month in a response to growth in the marketplace. In addition to enhancing its exchange coordination team, the company announced that Douglas Blackwell accepted the newly-created position of Vice President of Major Accounts for the Northwest Region.

Blackwell, whose considerable experience includes a background in 1031 Exchanges and in mortgage finance and investment management, will focus on wealth preservation strategies. A trainer by nature, he also draws from eight years as on-air talent for a real estate talk show and has held a number of professional licenses throughout his career.

In addition to specializing as an educator, Blackwell is passionate about financial literacy. Prior to his tenure in the 1031 Exchange industry, he touched every facet of the financial spectrum. A valued resource who delivers impactful and thorough financial messages, he is a problem solver in facilitating thousands of exchanges in all segments of complexity. Whether it be a delayed, reverse, build to suit, or construction exchange, Blackwell provides broad expertise and insightful solutions.

Former sales executive Cheryl Springer, who has been active in facilitating 1031 Exchanges since 1995, assumed the position of Senior Exchange Officer.
